"SPD" is short for "Summary Plan Description." An SPD is the booklet which describes the rules of a plan of benefits—including eligibility, coverage, how to file claims, any required co-pays, etc. |

The Building Service 32BJ Health Fund (Health Fund) provides health benefits to eligible members of Local 32BJ and their eligible dependents. This website includes the Summary Plan Description (SPDs) for the Metropolitan and Suburban, Tri-State, Tri-State Preferred, Basic, TriState Generic/Tri-State RX and TriState RX Plus plans of benefits of the Health Fund, which provides information about eligibility and benefits. Eligibility is determined by the collective bargaining agreement covering you at work. Not all members of 32BJ are covered by this Fund. Some are covered by other health funds.
